ハロウィン意訳

　仮装だ！おばけのフリをするんだ！
　おっと、マスクを忘れちゃいけないぜ？あやうく遅れるとこだった。
　ほかに忘れものは...われながら良いでき「はやくなさい！」
　やっば！行かなきゃ！今夜はすごいことになりそうだ！

　かわいらしいおばけたちが、トリック・オア・トリート！」の掛け声とともに、家々の扉をノックする。

　でも、耳をそばだてて...注意して...気を付けないと...

　ハロウィンの賑わいに紛れて、何かが起こっているよ？
　ハロウィンは終わりと始まりがまざりあう日。
　良いものだけじゃなくて、そうでないものも集まってくるんだよ？

　これがハロウィン
　それがハロウィン
　今夜何かが起こる！

　収穫もせず地べたに座り、ジャック・オー・ランタンが蘇るのを待っている。

　ジャック・オー・ランタンだって！
　そんな迷信、善良なチャーリー・ブラウンだって、「親友のライナスから聞いたって」いっても信じないぞ。
　子供だって、それくらい、ちゃんとわかってるさ。

　でもさ、注意して？...ほんとうにおとぎばなしのことかな？...セイゼイ、気ヲツケルコトダ...

　街はハロウィンで大賑わい。
　何が起こってもわかりゃしない。
　浮かれた空気に誘われ、様々なことが起こっている。
　それに気が付くのは、良いことなのか、悪いことなのか。

　ハロウィンの夜。
　熱に浮かされ、何かが起こる。

　かすかに聞こえる...よぶ声が。
　耳を澄ませてみよう...ほら、呼んでいるよ？
　聞こえるだろう！...呼んでるじゃないか！
　いるはずのないものの...きみを呼ぶ声が！

　ハロウィンの夜は、怪しい空気に包まれる...

　夜の帳が降り、闇が深くなる。
　空気はしんとはりつめてゆく...

　いざなわれる...

　ハロウィンの夜に。

　昼の喧騒が嘘のように、熱気は静まり、いつしか恐怖に支配されてゆく。
　待ちに待ったハロウィンの夜なのに、今は朝が来るのが待ち遠しい。
　今夜何が起こるのか？
　どうする？運命の分かれ道だ。

　キミを呼ぶ声は、部屋のドアをノックした。
　現実？それとも夢？
　キミは震える足でドアに近づき、恐る恐るドアから覗く。
　そこには、乱杭歯の提灯持ちの男が！
　あまりの出来事に悲鳴を上げるキミ！

　ハロウィンの夜には何かが起こる...

　くらい...なにもみえない...
　いま、ぼくはどうなっているの？
　だれかいませんか？
　なにがどうなっているの？
　生きているの？
　死んでいるの？
　それすらわからない。

　微かに灯る明かりが、暗がりから近づいてくるのがわかる。
　あぁ！明かりだ！と、心細かったキミは笑顔になる。

　だがキミを照らすその先にいたものは...！

　ここにはオレとお前しかいない。
　つまり、お前の命はオレが握ってるってことだ！
　さあ決めろ！ここで一生飼われるか、オレの手にかかって死ぬかをな！

　-お前に未来を見せてやろう
　蛇がそう言った。
　-私はお前に、富と栄誉を与えてやろう
　蛇の誘惑は、人を堕落へと誘う。

　神よ！邪悪からお救いください！
　蛇の誘惑に抗い続ける力を！
　邪悪に打ち勝つ力を与え給え！
　さすれば世は苦痛より開放され、安寧が訪れるでしょう。

　でも、注意して...気を付けないと...耳をそばだてて...

　ハロウィン。
　今宵、街は不思議な力に包まれ、
　魑魅魍魎で溢れかえる。
　逃れる術はない。
　仮面をつけ、魔よけのかがり火を焚いていないと
　どうなってもしらないぞ？

　やったー！今日は待ちに待ったハロウィンだ！
　でも、ハロウィンなんだよなあ...

　なにが起こるかわからない。
　それが今夜やってくる！

　とりあえずやってはみたものの、

　ここどうすればいいのかホントわかんねぇ...

　この前までは、いわゆるアメリカのハロウィン風景と、伝承なんかと合わせ、「ハロウィンの夜に夜更かしする悪い子は、ジャック・オー・ランタンに連れ去られてしまうよ」って感じに解釈できるんだけど、繋がりがホントわかんねぇ。

　ま、まあ、それはともかく、今夜はハロウィンだから、ハロウィンを聴いていい子にしていれば、作中のこども？のような目にあうこともないだろうね！
